Dr. Vy Pham, OD

Prior to opening Eyes of Hermosa, Dr. Pham was a practicing medical optometrist and the Director of Optometry Services at Acuity Eye Group, organizing and directing a team of over 30 optometric physicians to ensure continuity in care and increased satisfaction for both patient and provider - and playing a lead role in advancing Acuity's mission in enhanced exams using a combination of telemedicine and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Pham earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science at University of California, Irvine and her Doctorates of Optometry from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Pham was born and raised in Rancho Palos Verdes, and now lives in Hermosa Beach with her husband, Dan. She considers herself lucky to be able to treat patients in the South Bay community she grew up in and lives.

Dr. Abigail Fernandez, OD

Thorough and compassionate, Dr. Fernandez is excited to join the practice in serving the South bay community. She received her Doctorates of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Dr. Fernandez has a background in medical optometry from her experience in both the Veterans Affair and Indian Health Services with a special interest in pediatric optometry. As a California native, she enjoys spending time with family and friends soaking in the Southern California Sun and going to Disneyland!

Rosie Carrillo, Optician

Rosie is kind, attentive, patient and always eager to help between both technical back office tasks and optical styling. As a certified medical assistant, Rosie has a comprehensive understanding of not only style but functional medical applications eyewear can achieve. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Michelle O’Brien, Office Manager

Michelle touches every aspect of the office from patient coordination, ophthalmic technical work, to everyday operations. Bringing her background as a registered nurse, she takes meticulous care of each patient’s individual needs with a holisitic view on the personal experience.
